This all came to me a little last minute but as I was wrapping up 2023, I thought about how I wanted next year to look. The one word that kept coming up for me was “new energy”.
I’m not entirely sure how that will pan out, but I think that with a new year, we can all use a little refresh! I don’t think anyone has to necessarily reinvent themselves come January (but if you do, that’s pretty awesome, too) but I think this time of the year is always a good time to check in and reevaluate.
Asking yourself questions like…
- How are you doing?
- No seriously, how are you really doing?
- What do you love about your current state of being?
- What do you want to update about your current state of being?
- If you could focus on one attainable change within the next 30 days, what would that be?
- What are things you could do to help you implement this change?
- How would your life look/feel/be different with this change?
- What big picture goal would you be getting one step closer to with this change?
- …What is that big picture goal?
I love asking myself these questions because it helps me really reel it in. Sometimes our brains are going 5,000,000 miles a minute and then when it’s time to get going, it just all feels overwhelming. Make sure to apply these questions to ALL sectors of your life: self, relationships, career, life, and so on… don’t be shy! No one else has to read your deepest thoughts unless you want them to so be honest with yourself.
One thing that has always helped me stay sane is having a reliable fitness routine. I love having guaranteed uninterrupted minutes all to myself. Not every workout has to be perfect or hardcore or crazy or super sweaty… but it has to be there. There has to be a commitment to the self. When I find time to move, I feel better. When I feel better, I am better. The cycle continues.
After filming a ton of workout videos for you last year, I figured now would be a good time to get them all organized in a monthly calendar for you! Start it this month, use it again next month, whatever you want! The framework is there and it’s waiting for you.

Make sure you read all the notes to help you plan. Each day’s workouts are between 15-30 minutes, so you can follow it as-is or tack on more fitness if you feel like it! Equipment-wise, you’ll just need a yoga mat and a set of weights. Preview the videos ahead of the week to know how heavy you should go for the weights.
